Billing Options
Standard Consultation Fee
Medicare Rebates

I see clients through Medicare, Workcover, NDIS (self or plan managed) and privately. Limited bulk billed spaces available.

A standard consultation of 50-60minutes is $180. With a mental health care plan, the gap fee is $83.35
Initial session $188 (gap of $91.35 with Medicare rebate)

Eligible clients can access Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year through the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative. To qualify, you’ll need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, who will assess your suitability for this program.

Cancellation policy / fees
At Shift Happens Psychology, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled or canceled. To provide the best care for all our clients and maintain an efficient schedule, we have established the following cancellation policy:
Appointment Changes and Cancellations

Notice Period: We require at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment time to another client in need.

Late Cancellations: If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice, a late cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee will be charged.

No-Shows: If you don't show up for your scheduled appointment without providing any notice, a no-show fee equal to 100% of the session fee will be charged.
Emergency Cancellations
We understand that emergencies can happen. In the case of sudden illness or unexpected events, please contact us as soon as possible. We may waive the cancellation fee at our discretion in these circumstances.
Payment of Fees
